OBOBC Portal

How it works · Couriers

Fly the missions, cut the noise.

Maintain your profile and keep your availability current. Brokers search by route and timing and find you — instead of sending “Hi! Available?” around a WhatsApp group.

How it works for brokers →

01

From profile to being found

  1. 01

    Maintain your profile

Your bases, travel documents, driving licences, vehicles and work preferences give brokers a clearer picture of who you are. Keep them up to date so a broker can assess your fit for a mission before requesting contact.

  2. 02

Keep your availability and missions up-to-date

Set your availability and record the periods when you cannot work. Keep your location and mission details current, too. Brokers can search against that information, even when you are currently on a mission.

  3. 03

    Get found by brokers

Brokers search by route, pickup location and time window. When your agenda, location and documents line up, you appear in their results.

  4. 04

    Accept or decline contact requests

When a broker wants to talk, you receive a contact request from us via WhatsApp. When you accept, we disclose your name and contact details so the conversation can continue directly. Accepting to be contacted is not accepting a mission.

  5. 05

    Agree the details

Discuss the mission, confirm suitability and agree the commercial terms with the broker, using your current communication channels.

  6. 06

    Record your missions

Record and update missions, including route segments and first- and last-mile details, so your agenda — and what brokers see — stays accurate.

02

What helps you get found

Brokers look beyond the route. Documents, vehicles and a current agenda decide who shows up.

A current profile stays usefull

A complete profile is a starting point, not a one-time promise. Availability, location, documents and vehicle access can change. Current information makes you easier to find.

Documents open routes

Passports, visas, yellow fever certificate and driving licence help brokers see which routes you can fly. Unknown visa status doesn't disqualify you; it just needs checking.

Your car matters

Say whether you have a car right now. First- and last-mile legs are part of many missions, and brokers look for it.

Brokers can associate you

Brokers can invite you to become associated with their company, so their future searches prioritise you.

03

Common questions

Does accepting a contact request commit me to a mission?

No. It means you agree to share contact details with the broker. You still need to discuss the assignment and agree its details before committing.

How do brokers find me?

Brokers search by route and timing. Couriers whose availability, location and documents fit the mission appear in the results, so a current profile is what gets you found.

Can I be found while I'm on a mission?

Yes. Keep your mission details current and brokers can search against your agenda, even when you are away.

Is OBC Portal a courier company?

No. OBC Portal helps independent on-board couriers get found by brokers. The broker and courier agree the mission and its terms directly.
