Getting started
How do I get an account?
Use the Request Access form: tell us your name, email, phone number, and a line about your experience, and the team will follow up from there. There is no open self-signup during the beta. We reserve the right to accept and deny access as we see fit. Request Access
I have an account. Where do I sign in?
At app.obcportal.com. Everything on this site is the public explanation; the working portal is behind that sign-in.
Do I need the mobile app?
The apps for Android and iOS allow couriers to track their live location and manage their profile, availability, and missions while on the go. While not strictly necessary, it is a helpful add-on and provides live, up-to-date info. Your exact location is never shared.
What should a new courier do first?
Fill the basics of your profile — bases and locations first — then flip availability on. The profile tells you what is missing and how much that limits what you are offered.
Availability and visibility
What does the availability switch actually do?
It puts you in front of brokers searching your routes. It does not book you anything, and turning it off stops new offers immediately.
How do brokers find me?
They search for a route and a time window. Your availability, reported location, and the documents on file determine whether you appear in that result, so keeping your profile current keeps you visible.
Why am I not getting contacted?
Your location, availability, passport, visa's all influence if you show up in the search results in the first place. Some locations have a high concentration of couriers, some have a very low volume of missions. Verify that your phone number is set up with WhatsApp and keep your profile up-to-date.
Can the broker see where I am?
We only share the distance and time to a certain destination (airport or pick-up location). We do not share your approximate or precise location. One exception: you can share your dashboard with others and choose to share your approximate location there.
Documents and eligibility
Which documents should be on a profile?
Passports and visas, driving licences and vehicles, any medical certificate that applies, plus emergency contact details. Keep them current — expiry dates are the most common silent blocker.
What are exclusions for?
They indicate where you will not travel, even when your passport permits. They are applied by the search engine, so you don't need to dissapoint anyone.
My document expired. Do I lose access?
You keep your account. You stop appearing in searches for missions that need the document until it is updated.
Accounts and access
I forgot my password.
Use the recovery link on the sign-in page at app.obcportal.com. If that email never arrives, the desk can help.
Can colleagues have their own logins?
Yes, and they should. Roles are held separately from profiles so access can be given and removed without touching anyone's personal data.
